There is a quiet confidence to the 1391. It is a rectangular optical frame in acetate, drawn with straight lines and left alone.
Three colourways, and none of them is boring. Black on Blue layers one tone over another so the colour reveals itself at the edges. Brush Stroke is exactly what it sounds like - a painterly, irregular finish, no two frames identical in the pattern's placement. Olive is the muted, wearable one that will go with almost anything you already own.
Each lens is 53mm across. That measurement, the lens width, puts the 1391 in the middle-to-generous band: enough width to give a rectangle presence, not so much that it slides toward oversized. Best on medium and wider faces.
