Humble Potato is a real colourway, and it is one of five on the 1402 Square Opticals. The others - Brown Havana, Olive, Obsidian and the graphic Yellow on Black - run from quiet to distinctly loud, which is a fair reflection of how flexible this frame is.
The shape is square: a level brow line, defined corners, and a structure that gives softer and rounder faces something to push against. Acetate keeps the profile substantial without letting it feel heavy.
Lens width is 50mm, the span across a single lens. It is a genuinely middle-of-the-road size, easy to wear day in and day out, and comfortable across most adult face widths. A good first square if you have only worn rounds before.
