At 59mm across each lens, the 1412 Round Sunglasses are properly oversized. That figure is the lens width, and it tells you most of what you need to know: a big, confident round that covers a lot of face, suited to medium and larger head widths or to anyone deliberately chasing a bold silhouette.
The acetate comes in three colourways. Sand Crystal is pale and translucent. Black on Oil is dark with a shifting depth to it. Brush Stroke is the most expressive of the three, and the one that gets looked at twice. All are handcrafted, in the way Cutler and Gross has always worked.
