Cutler and Gross 1418 Rectangle Sunglasses

Model 1418 is a rectangle with confidence. The front is cut in acetate and handcrafted, and the single colourway - Black and 24K Gold - tells you what kind of frame this is: dark, glossy, and finished with a flash of warmth that catches the light as you turn.

The lenses measure 57mm across, which is a broad rectangle by any measure. Lens width is simply the distance across one lens, and 57mm puts this at the larger end of the range, so it will sit best on wider faces or on anyone who deliberately wants coverage and a strong, squared-off line.

Acetate gives the frame the depth of colour and the weight in the hand that thin metals cannot match.
