Cutler and Gross 9261 Cat Eye Sunglasses

A cat eye in the dark. The 9261 sunglass is handcrafted in acetate and comes in Obsidian, a black with more depth than a flat black could manage, and the combination is deliberately restrained for a shape that usually shouts.

The upswept outer corners give the front its lift; the dark colourway keeps that lift elegant rather than theatrical. It is a cat eye you could wear to work.

Lens width is 50mm, the distance measured across a single lens. That is a moderate size - the shape stays sharp and defined without stretching wide across the face - so it works well on small and medium faces, and it is a strong option if a softer or rounder face shape is looking for definition.
