Cutler and Gross 9290 Round Sunglasses

One colour, one shape, no hedging. The 9290 is a round sunglass in Obsidian, a deep, glassy acetate that gives the frame a hard, mineral quality.

Round frames work by contrast: they take the edge off angular features and bring balance to a square jaw or a strong brow. The 9290 keeps its circle tight and unadorned, which is what stops it tipping into fancy dress.

The lens width is 47mm. That is compact, and it means the frame sits neatly on smaller and narrower faces without swamping them. Wearers with broader features may prefer something with more width across the eye.
