The GR14 takes the aviator outline and builds it in acetate, with polarised lenses fitted. Two colours: Dark Grey, plain and serious, and Grey Havana, which brings a mottled pattern and a warmer cast.
Its lens width is 54mm. That figure describes how wide each lens runs across, and 54mm is a medium-to-large fit. It gives noticeably more coverage than its smaller sibling the GR15, and it sits comfortably on wider faces.
Polarisation is the practical part. It filters out reflected glare, which makes a real difference when driving or spending time near water.
