Cutler and Gross Kensington 1424 Aviator Sunglasses

Fifty-nine millimetres is a big lens. That figure is the width of a single lens, and at 59mm the Kensington 1424 is a large aviator: wide across the front, generous with coverage, and best suited to medium and broader faces. On a small face it will read as oversized, which may of course be exactly the point.

The frame is titanium, so despite the scale it stays light on the nose and behind the ear.

Three metal finishes are offered: Gold, Silver/Gold, and Jewel Gold/Gun Metal, the last of these being the most muted of the three.

The aviator line needs no introduction, and Cutler and Gross has kept it clean and unfussy here.
