Hand polishing is slow work, and it is the reason the M1038's Japanese acetate has depth to it rather than a surface gloss. The frame carries the signature M+N engraving and is made in Japan, with no metal trim to distract from the material itself.

Sizing: 51-22-145 means a 51mm lens, a 22mm bridge and 145mm temples. This is a true medium to slightly larger fit: the 51mm eye suits average and wider faces, while the 22mm bridge sits comfortably on a standard to slightly broad nose bridge. The 145mm temples give a long, stable reach.
