Matsuda M1039 Eyeglasses

If your glasses always sit too low or press into the sides of your nose, start with the M1039. Its 25mm bridge is the widest in this selection by some margin, and it is built into a hand polished Japanese acetate frame with precious metal finishing on the hardware. Made in Japan.

Sizing: 47-25-145 translates to a 47mm lens, that 25mm bridge, and 145mm temples. The small lens keeps the frame compact on narrow and medium faces, while the very wide bridge lifts and spaces the frame for low, flat or broad nose bridges. If you have been fighting frames that slide down your nose, this geometry is the fix.
