Matsuda M1042 Sunglasses

Hand polishing is what gives the M1042 its finish. The Japanese acetate is worked until the surface is smooth and even, edges included, rather than being left as it comes off the cutter. At the temples, a riveted custom five barrel hinge takes the strain of daily opening and closing. Made in Japan.

The size is 50-24-145. Fifty millimetres is the width of a single lens, twenty four is the bridge, and 145mm is the temple length from hinge to tip. That reads as a medium fit, and the 24mm bridge is deep, which helps if standard frames tend to perch too high on a low or flat nose bridge.

Colours are Bottle Green, Black, Blonde and Dark Navy Crystal. Lens tints are Blue Grey, Grey, Brown Gradient and Blue Gradient.
