Matsuda M2054 Eyeglasses

Six colourways is a wide palette for a frame this restrained. The M2054 is cut from thin compressed acetate, a denser sheet material that lets the profile stay slim without losing rigidity, then finished with stained glass lacquering so the colour has depth rather than sitting flat on the surface. Lightweight titanium temples keep the weight down. Made in Japan.

Sizing: 46-24-145 tells you the lens is 46mm across, the bridge spans 24mm and the temples run 145mm. The modest 46mm eye keeps the frame narrow, which works well on smaller and medium faces, and the wide 24mm bridge means it will sit level on a broader or flatter nose bridge instead of sliding.
