Matsuda M2070 Sunglasses

Hand-sculpted acetate is not a phrase most brands can use honestly. The M2070 front is shaped from Japanese acetate by hand, set with precious metal studded accents, and hung on hand engraved titanium temples, which is an unusual amount of manual work for a sunglass at this price. Made in Japan.

Sizing: The 53-16-142 measurement means a 53mm lens, a 16mm bridge and 142mm temples. That narrow 16mm bridge is the defining number: it holds the frame close and high, which suits a narrow or prominent nose bridge and does not favour flatter bridges. The 53mm lens keeps things medium to large, and the 142mm temple is slightly shorter than average.

Colourways: Black, Dark Navy Crystal, Bottle Green and Deep Purple, with Brown, Blue Grey, Blue Grey Gradient or Cafe Violet Gradient lenses.
