A titanium inner rim runs inside the acetate on the M2072, which is why the front can be cut this cleanly without losing rigidity. The acetate itself is aged Japanese stock, so the colour has depth rather than flatness, and the metal is given a precious metal finish. The 23mm bridge is the widest in the acetate sunglass range.
Sizing: 48-23-142 gives a 48mm lens width, a 23mm bridge and 142mm temple arms. That very wide bridge is the headline: it sets the lenses well apart and suits a broad or high nose bridge, the kind that usually pushes narrow bridged frames off centre. The 48mm lens keeps the eye compact, so the overall look is small lens, wide stance, on small to medium faces.
