The pince-nez bridge is what you notice first on the M3129. Rather than a conventional saddle, the frame draws on the pinched, close-set bridge form, executed here in lightweight titanium so the whole frame stays almost weightless on the face. Matsuda finishes it with their 'stained glass' lacquer, a translucent colour layer that lets the metal read through from underneath. Made in Japan.
Sizing: 51-19-145 means a 51mm lens width, a 19mm gap between the lenses, and 145mm temples. That is a true medium: it suits average to slightly wider faces, and the 19mm bridge sits comfortably on a standard nose bridge rather than a very narrow or very broad one. The long 145mm temples give plenty of length behind the ear.
