The smallest of Matsuda's rimless sunglasses, the M5001 runs a 46mm lens mounted straight onto lightweight titanium with no rim at all. Small rimless frames are difficult to build well, since every bit of load runs through the mount and the bridge, and this one is made in Japan with premium sun lenses fitted as standard.
Sizing: In 46-22-145, the 46mm is lens width, 22mm is the bridge and 145mm the temple arm. That combination of a small lens and a broad bridge points squarely at narrower faces and at wider, flatter nose bridges, where a tighter bridge would leave the frame sitting on the cheeks.
Colourways: Antique Gold, Brushed Gold, Palladium White and Matte Black, with Sage Green, Blue Grey, Grey, Cafe Violet Gradient and Cafe Orange lens options.
