Matsuda M5008 Sunglasses

Stained glass lacquering is not a common technique in eyewear, and on the M5008 it does the work that a rim usually would: colour laid onto the titanium in translucent layers, catching light against the gradient lenses. All four sun lenses here are gradients, which suits the effect, moving from deeper tone at the top to lighter at the bottom.

Sizing: 51-19-145 is 51mm of lens width, a 19mm bridge and 145mm temple arms. The 51mm lens is a true medium, and the 19mm bridge is a shade under average, so this frame favours medium face widths and a moderate to slim nose bridge. With no rim adding bulk, the fit stays close to those measurements.

Colourways: Brushed Gold, Brushed Silver, Matte Black and Antique Gold, with Blue Gradient, Grey Gradient, Rose Gradient or Sage Green Gradient lenses.
