Matsuda MXMF1 Eyeglasses

A 39mm eye is genuinely small by modern standards, and that is the point of the MXMF1. The tiny lens is paired with an unusually wide 28mm bridge, so the frame reads as two compact circles set well apart rather than as a shrunken pair of glasses. The front is Japanese acetate with hand applied lacquer, and the temples are lightweight titanium. Made in Japan.

Sizing: 39-28-145 breaks down as a 39mm lens width, a 28mm bridge and 145mm temples. This is a specialist fit. The narrow lens keeps the overall frame width modest, while the very wide bridge means it sits well on a broad or high nose bridge and generally suits medium to wider faces despite the small eye.
