Sapphire, and nothing else. The Dahven NYC Champs Edition is a tinted acetate style built around one saturated blue, with no alternative colourway to weigh up. It is a New York frame from a New York house, and the single colour is the whole argument.

Two lens widths are available: 44mm and 47mm. That number measures the width of one lens, and it is the most reliable guide to fit on the page. The 44mm is small, close-fitting and best on narrow or finer-boned faces. The 47mm is medium and the more broadly flattering of the two, the safer choice if you have never been sure where you sit.

Three millimetres is the entire decision here, so take it seriously.
