The optical Fanagle combines acetate with metal, and six colourways make the most of that contrast: Bamboo, Tortoise, Pine, Navy, Black/Silver and Citron/Tortoise. Black/Silver is the sharpest, Bamboo and Tortoise the warmest, and Citron/Tortoise the boldest of the six.
Two lens widths are offered, 50mm and 53mm, each measured straight across one lens. The 50mm is medium-to-large and already a substantial frame, with plenty of lens depth for progressive prescriptions. The 53mm is properly large and made for broader faces, or for anyone who has never found a standard size that fits without pinching.
Neither size is small, so this is a frame to choose on purpose rather than by accident.
