The result is a tint rather than a sunglass: light is warmed and dialled down instead of blocked out, so the frame is as wearable at a desk as it is on a terrace.
It is made in 44mm, 46mm and 49mm lens widths. Lens width simply describes how wide a single lens is from edge to edge, which in turn tells you how broadly the frame sits. Choose 44mm for a small, close fit, 46mm for a middle-of-the-road proportion, and 49mm for a wider, more generous look.
