Nine colourways is a lot for one frame, and the Miltzen Monochrome uses every one of them: Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, Bark, Vintage Rose, Light Grey, Blonde, Sage and Bamboo. Some, like Bark and Light Grey, are almost neutral. Others, like Ruby and Emerald, are unapologetic. It is a tinted style, and the colour carries right through.
Three lens widths are made: 44mm, 46mm and 49mm. At 44mm this is a small frame and reads neat and close on a narrow face. At 46mm it is small-to-medium, which is where most wearers will be comfortable. At 49mm it is the largest of the three and the one that will look right on broader features.
Get the width right first; there is no shortage of colour once you have.
