Grey on light grey is the softest way to wear the Telena, and it makes an unusually good base for a strong tint. This handmade version comes with ten to choose between: American Grey Fade, Bel Air Blue, Broadway Blue Fade, Cabernet, Denim Blue, Celebrity Blue, Chestnut Fade, Forest Wood, Mellow Yellow and New York Rose.
Lens width is 44mm or 47mm, taken across one lens. Read 44mm as small, close-set and suited to narrower faces, and 47mm as medium, the more universal of the pair and the one to default to if you are unsure. Get this right and everything else follows.
The paler frame lets the fades show their full range, which is not something a darker frame can do.
