BEACH is a MYLON frame, and MYLON is the reason to choose it. The material is lightweight to a degree that steel and acetate cannot match, and Mykita finishes it with a hydrophobic nano coating so water beads off the surface rather than sitting on it. The patented screwless hinge system means there is no fastener to work loose.
Two colourways, both restrained. MD1 Pitch Black with Dark Grey Solid lenses is the harder-edged of the pair. MD35 Slate Grey with Coolgrey Solid lenses is softer and reads grey rather than black in daylight.
Temples measure 135mm, a shorter arm that suits narrower faces and anyone who finds longer temples slide back too far.
