BEAR comes out of Mykita's collaboration with the Berlin magazine 032c, and it does not hedge: a Camou Green frame paired with a Hollygreen solid lens, rated CAT3 for full sun. This is a frame for someone who has already decided what they want to look like.
It is built from circular stainless steel, using Mykita's proprietary spiral hinge, with a rubber nose pad and individual adjustability so it can be fitted properly to your face rather than approximately. Handmade in Berlin.
Fit: the temple arms measure 130mm, which is on the shorter side. That keeps the frame sitting close and high, and it tends to suit smaller to medium head widths; it is less likely to slide down through a warm afternoon.
