BERTHOLD in the LITE collection is a study in two materials meeting. Circular stainless steel forms the rim, and acetate rings are fitted inside it, so the edge closest to the lens carries colour and warmth while the outer edge stays thin and metallic. Acetate temple ends repeat the pairing where the arm meets the ear.
The patented spiral hinge does the folding, and the frame is individually adjustable so an optician can set it to your head.
Temples measure 145mm, slightly generous, which usually means less pressure behind the ear over a long day.
A98 Glossygold with Desert Haze and A99 Champagnegold with Soft Havana are the warm pair; A13 Shiny Graphite with Taupe is the muted one; A6 Black on Black is the frame at its most severe.
