FREDA mixes its materials rather than choosing between them: a slender acetate frame front carries the colour, while ultra-light stainless steel temples keep the sides close to weightless.
That contrast is the whole idea of this LITE design. The patented spiral hinge joins the two without screws, and acetate temple ends bring the material back at the point where the frame meets your ear, so the finish stays consistent front to back. C104 Melrose/Purple Bronze is the boldest of the three colourways; C93 Matte Smoke/Blackberry is the moodiest, and C113 Brown Gradient/Mocca the warmest. Temples measure 140 mm, a comfortable mid-length for most average head widths. Handmade in Berlin, supplied with a branded eyewear case and cleaning cloth, and covered by a two-year product warranty.
