The front is acetate, slender and shaped; the temples are circular stainless steel. GYLFI's appeal lies in the way those two materials meet, and in the acetate temple ends that bring the frame full circle.
It is a LITE design, which means the acetate front is cut fine rather than thick, keeping presence without the weight. The proprietary spiral hinge joins front to temple without screws, and the frame is individually adjustable so the fit can be set properly rather than guessed at. Temples measure 140 mm, a mid-length suited to most average head widths. C42 Grey Gradient/Shiny Graphite is the most versatile of the four colourways, with C116 Peridot/Graphite, C2 Black/Black and C9 Santiago Gradient offering more or less contrast. Handmade in Berlin, supplied with a branded eyewear case and cleaning cloth.
