HAMISH takes the LESSRIM SUN approach, keeping the metalwork to a minimum so the lens does most of the talking. Here that lens is a Darkgrey Solid (CAT3): a deep, even tint with 100% UV protection.
The frame is circular stainless steel, fine in section and light to wear, joined by Mykita's proprietary spiral hinge. Silicone temple tips and nose pads hold it steady in bright weather, and the whole frame is individually adjustable. Temples measure 140 mm, a mid-length that suits most average head widths. Black/Silver is the sharpest of the three options, while Silver/Champagne Gold with a Dusk Gradient lens and Cashmere Silver/Shiny Silver with a Grey Gradient (CAT2) lens are the softer alternatives.
